Mum Challenge

The workshop for mums and dads is designed online to avoid travel times and to have the familiar environment with the toddler. Your toddler is welcome to join you!

I'm glad that I had my child with me for two sessions. I realised that I became a bit nervous when my child was restless and I learned that I can quickly relax into this situation. My child always fell asleep during the workshop. I have to start with myself first, then the situation changes.

Thanks to the workshop, I am better able to create the quiet spaces that we all need during a busy day. When I calm down inside and create a relaxed environment, the children can also relax during the lunch break and we start our afternoons with more energy.

The key for me is that if I allow my feelings, I can let the children be who they are. If I don't allow my fears and feelings, I transfer them to the children. I worry more about them and then they can't have their own experiences without being influenced. Since the workshop, I can also allow myself to be angry if the children don't listen to me. The idea that things always have to be harmonious is not realistic.

The online workshop with Michaela was a great step towards becoming a little bit more independent in letting go. I already managed this well with on-site trainings, but less so at home on my own. With Michaela's calm and empathetic manner and her loving guidance, the tension in my body was released by itself, even without ‘hands on’, and afterwards I was not only more relaxed, but also more energised. The online workshop was a real enrichment for me as a mum! Lots of tips and breathing exercises that can be integrated into everyday life so that mum and child can relax and enjoy their time together.
Especially the ‘online’ was an advantage, as not everything can be planned exactly with a child and you can be more flexible at home. We now enjoy a great time together and if tensions arise, I now know ways to ease them! Thank you!

The online workshop was enriching for me as a mum for many everyday situations! Under the guidance of course instructor Michaela Etzlinger, we learnt to consciously relax and breathe deeply in a wide variety of situations. By holding the course online, it was also easy to take part from home with a baby, in familiar surroundings where everything for the child is already available - without having to pack up things and drive somewhere with the stroller/car.

The course content is extremely relevant and practical. In addition to dealing with pain, other important topics such as finding inner peace, letting go of tension, letting go of expectations and letting emotions flow were also covered. Through these topics, we learnt to understand ourselves better and to be a role model for our children in dealing with stress, pain and anxiety.

The benefits of this course are manifold. By consciously relaxing and taking care of our own physical and emotional health, we gain more energy, lightness and joy in everyday life. We can be authentically ourselves and don't have to live up to the expectations of others unless we want to. At the same time, we create more space for ourselves and our children, promote trust in ourselves and enable our children to develop the skills to deal with stress and emotions from an early age.

I can highly recommend the workshop and learning how to consciously relax. This course offers a valuable approach for parents to support themselves and their children in the best possible way. The conscious relaxation techniques learnt are a valuable resource for dealing with the challenges of parenting and creating a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere for our families.
